Hey, do you guys like taco salad?
Of course you do. Everyone likes taco salad.
Well I discovered a nifty tool to make your homemade taco salads more easy and delicious.
Taco salad molds. I probably shouldn’t take credit for their discovery though. Evan and his brother actually found them at Walmart. And possibly I’m late getting on this taco mold bandwagon and everyone already knows about them, but when I saw them my mind was blown.
Anyway, you just stick regular (flour, whole wheat, corn, etc.) tortillas in the little molds.
And then put them in the oven for about 10 minutes. Done. Perfect, crispy taco shell goodness.
And then you just fill those badboys up with all your favourite taco stuff. In my case ground beef, lettuce, tomato, cheese, salsa, sour cream, and cilantro.
Multiple times. You can just keep refilling. And then you eat the bowl.
GENIUS. No more boring taco salads for me!
PS – Sorry for the lame post about taco molds. It’s Friday and my brain hurts. Also, I’m addicted to Mad Men now and have been watching them all since season two for the past month or so, and it’s eating into my blogging time. And I started a new job this week, which has also been taking up brain power. But more on that next week!
Have a great weekend!
